暗い洞窟、火の揺らめき、前方のみを見続ける囚われた人々、影によって作り出されるイメージ、イメージを操作する者…私はこれらの要素を含んだプラトンの”洞窟の比喩”に、実際のイデアにまつわる内容よりも、そのイメージ自体に強く惹かれてきた。今回はそうした“洞窟の比喩”をモチーフに“みえてくるもの”を探ってみようと思う。

Dark caves, fires, people who keep looking only forward, images produced by shadows, those who manipulate images … I was strongly interested in the image itself, more than Plato's Allegory of the Cave. I will try to find “Phantasma(something that is gradually coming into view)” referring to “Allegory of the Cave”.
